Equine Herb Blends – Species-Appropriate, Whole-Systems Support for Healing & Wellness

Our equine herb blends are formulated using a three-layered, whole-systems approach:
Targeted Support → Whole-Systems Support → Nutritional Contribution.

While individual blends may be created with a specific concern in mind, no formula ever works in isolation. The equine body functions as an interconnected system, and true healing only occurs when foundational systems are supported first.

Targeted Support addresses the primary area of concern — such as digestive, musculoskeletal, metabolic, immune, neurological, or emotional balance.
Whole-Systems Support ensures the related systems influencing that concern are supported simultaneously, preventing imbalance, depletion, or symptom-chasing.
Nutritional Contribution provides bioavailable plant-based vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients that nourish the body at a cellular level and support long-term resilience.

The Importance of Core Essentials

At the foundation of our equine line are the Core Essential blends, designed to support digestion, detoxification, circulation, lymphatic flow, nervous system regulation, metabolic balance, and overall vitality. These blends are intended to be paired with a species-appropriate, forage-based diet and Camelina meal, which provides essential omega fatty acids and foundational nutritional support.

In most cases, establishing this core foundation first allows the body to regulate more effectively, making any additional targeted support more successful and sustainable. While we do offer other whole-systems, targeted blends, they are most effective when layered onto a strong nutritional and systemic base rather than used as a starting point on their own.

How We Formulate

This approach reflects advanced master herbalist education, systems-based formulation, and years of hands-on experience working with horses. Rather than creating single-purpose remedies, each blend is crafted to work with the horse’s natural physiology, supporting regulation, adaptability, and recovery from the inside out.

All blends are made exclusively with organic or wildcrafted, non-GMO, and kosher-certified herbs, with no synthetic additives or fillers. Feeding guidance is based on the average 1,000 lb horse, with adjustments made for age, workload, environment, and overall health.
