Kidney, Bladder, Urinary Tract Resilience Herbal Tea
Kidney, Bladder & Urinary Tract Resilience Herbal Tea was created to support the interconnected physiology involved in urinary function, bladder and kidney wellness, hydration, fluid balance, lymphatic movement, tissue integrity, and the body’s natural elimination pathways
The urinary system does not function in isolation. Healthy fluid regulation depends on kidney filtration, bladder and urinary-tract tissue health, electrolyte balance, circulation, lymphatic movement, hydration, and the coordinated removal of metabolic waste.
For this reason, this product is available in two distinct formulation approaches, allowing support to match the level and type of need rather than assuming everyone requires the same protocol.
Nourishing Wellness Formula (Phase 2)
The Nourishing Wellness Formula is designed for ongoing kidney and bladder nourishment and may be used independently by those who do not require more targeted urinary support.
Nettle, cleavers, marshmallow root, oatstraw, calendula, and dandelion root provide mineral nourishment, mucosal and tissue support, healthy fluid movement, lymphatic support, hydration, and normal elimination. This formula is particularly appropriate for those who want to maintain urinary-system wellness, support healthy hydration and fluid balance, or provide ongoing nourishment to the systems involved in kidney, bladder, lymphatic, and elimination physiology.
It may also be used after completing the Targeted Urinary Protocol when continued nourishment and system support are desired.
Targeted Urinary Protocol (Phase 1)
The Targeted Urinary Protocol is designed for periods when the bladder and urinary tract require more focused short-term support.
The targeted formula combines uva ursi, marshmallow root, cleavers, calendula, dandelion root, and cornsilk to support urinary-tract tissues, mucosal comfort, healthy fluid movement, elimination, and the broader physiological environment surrounding urinary wellness. Uva ursi provides concentrated urinary-tract phytochemistry and is intentionally used only for a defined short-term period. Marshmallow root and cornsilk provide soothing support for urinary tissues, while cleavers and calendula support lymphatic movement and tissue integrity. Dandelion root broadens the formulation into digestive, hepatic, and elimination physiology.
After the targeted portion of the protocol is completed, the individual transitions directly into the Nourishing Wellness Formula, shifting the focus from targeted urinary support toward mineral nourishment, hydration, tissue resilience, lymphatic movement, and longer-term system recovery.
Whole-System Urinary Support
Kidney, bladder, and urinary health are influenced by multiple systems working together. Hydration and electrolyte balance influence fluid movement. The kidneys participate in filtration and waste removal. Bladder and urinary-tract tissues depend on healthy mucosal integrity. Lymphatic movement contributes to fluid balance, while digestive and hepatic function influence how the body processes and eliminates metabolic waste.
This formulation approach therefore supports the urinary, renal-fluid, bladder, lymphatic, digestive, and elimination systems together, with the emphasis changing according to whether Nourishing Wellness support or the Targeted Urinary Protocol is being used.
Important — Suspected Urinary Tract Infection
This product is not a substitute for medical evaluation or antibiotic treatment when a bacterial urinary tract infection is present. If you have symptoms suggesting a urinary tract infection, seek medical evaluation before purchasing or relying on the Targeted Urinary Protocol. If a bacterial infection is diagnosed and antibiotics are prescribed, follow the recommended treatment. Fever, chills, flank or back pain, vomiting, blood in the urine, rapidly worsening symptoms, urinary symptoms during pregnancy, or signs of kidney involvement require prompt medical evaluation.
The Targeted Urinary Protocol contains uva ursi and is intended for short-term use only. It is not appropriate for individuals with known kidney disease.
Foundation Before Function
Some people require only the Nourishing Wellness Formula. Others may need the more focused Targeted Urinary Protocol first before transitioning into ongoing nourishment.
Wholehearted Harmony Master Herbal Formulations are not designed to be indiscriminately stacked. Combining multiple formulations without considering overlapping botanicals, physiological actions, medications, and individual needs can create unnecessary complexity.
If you are considering using this formulation alongside another Wholehearted Harmony blend or herbal tea, please review Using Multiple Animal Blends & Herbal Teas in the Educational Library before combining them.

Phase 1 — Targeted Urinary Support
Uva Ursi Leaf — Functional Properties: Rich in arbutin and related hydroquinone glycosides, along with tannins, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds. Uva ursi has a long history of short-term traditional use for lower urinary-tract support and is valued for its concentrated urinary phytochemistry. Whole-Systems: Primarily supports bladder and lower urinary-tract physiology rather than functioning as a general daily kidney tonic. Its astringent and urinary-active compounds make it appropriate for focused, time-limited use within Phase 1 rather than prolonged supplementation. Vitamins & Minerals: Used primarily for arbutin, tannins, flavonoids, and related phytochemistry rather than as a significant source of vitamins or minerals.
Marshmallow Root — Functional Properties: Rich in mucilage-forming polysaccharides that become slippery and soothing when hydrated. Marshmallow supports mucosal integrity, tissue comfort, hydration, and healthy inflammatory response throughout the urinary and digestive tracts. Whole-Systems: Bridges urinary and gastrointestinal physiology through its affinity for mucous membranes and vulnerable tissues. Its demulcent character provides a gentler counterbalance within a more targeted urinary phase. Vitamins & Minerals: Calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and smaller amounts of manganese.
Cleavers — Functional Properties: Contains iridoids, flavonoids, phenolic acids, and other plant compounds associated with traditional lymphatic, urinary, and fluid-movement support. Whole-Systems: Connects lymphatic movement with urinary elimination and tissue-fluid balance. Cleavers is especially relevant where fluid regulation, lymphatic drainage, and elimination need to be supported together rather than viewed as separate processes. Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamin C; calcium, potassium, and smaller amounts of silica and other minerals.
Calendula — Functional Properties: Rich in triterpenoids, flavonoids, carotenoids, and phenolic compounds that support tissue integrity, healthy inflammatory response, lymphatic function, and mucosal resilience. Whole-Systems: Extends across urinary, lymphatic, digestive, skin, and immune-related tissue physiology. Its tissue-supportive character makes it particularly useful when fluid movement and elimination need to occur alongside protection of delicate tissues. Vitamins & Minerals: Carotenoids with provitamin A activity; calcium, potassium, and magnesium.
Dandelion Root — Functional Properties: Contains inulin, sesquiterpene lactones, phenolic acids, and bitter compounds that support digestion, hepatic function, metabolic processing, intestinal microbial ecology, and normal elimination. Whole-Systems: Connects digestive and liver-associated metabolism with elimination and fluid-regulatory physiology. Its role broadens urinary support by helping maintain the digestive and metabolic pathways that participate in processing and eliminating waste. Vitamins & Minerals: Potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, and smaller amounts of manganese.
Cornsilk — Functional Properties: Contains flavonoids, polysaccharides, phytosterols, phenolic compounds, and mineral constituents. Traditionally used as a gentle urinary demulcent, cornsilk supports urinary tissue comfort, healthy fluid movement, and normal elimination. Whole-Systems: Supports bladder and urinary tissues while extending into fluid-balance and inflammatory physiology. Its gentle character complements the more concentrated urinary activity of uva ursi within Phase 1. Vitamins & Minerals: Potassium, calcium, magnesium, and smaller amounts of iron and zinc.
Phase 2 — Nourishment & Recovery
Phase 2 continues marshmallow root, cleavers, calendula, and dandelion root as described above and adds the following nourishing botanicals:
Nettle — Functional Properties: A deeply nutritive botanical containing chlorophyll, flavonoids, carotenoids, phenolic compounds, and a broad mineral spectrum. Nettle supports healthy fluid regulation, urinary function, nutritional replenishment, circulation, and overall tissue resilience. Whole-Systems: Extends across urinary, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, metabolic, and nutritional physiology. Its mineral density makes it particularly appropriate for the transition from focused support into longer-term nourishment and restoration. Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamins A, C, and K; calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, phosphorus, manganese, and silica.
Oatstraw — Functional Properties: A nourishing cereal herb traditionally valued for mineral replenishment, nervous-system resilience, and restorative support. Oatstraw provides silica and other minerals together with flavonoids and plant nutrients that support tissues during periods of ongoing physiological demand. Whole-Systems: Connects mineral nourishment with nervous-system, connective-tissue, musculoskeletal, and restorative physiology. Within Phase 2 it helps shift the formulation away from targeted urinary activity and toward replenishment, resilience, and long-term system support. Vitamins & Minerals: Calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, and silica.
