    Elderberries: contain polyphenols which are a type of antioxidant. Antioxidants prevent damage to your cells that can lead to diseases. The antioxidants in elderberry have suspected benefits such as, reduced risk of tumors, boosted immune function, lower blood pressure levels, and reduced blood sugar levels.

    Chamomile: contains antibacterial properties that can help to ward off illness and keep your immune system in tip-top shape.

    Rosehips: All the vitamin C in rosehips makes rose hip tea a great option to reach for when you want to give your immune system a helping hand. The extra vitamin A and E also found in rosehips is also good news for immunity, as are all the other antioxidants that rose hips contain.

    Echinacea: studies show with early symptoms of cold and flu (such as runny nose, scratchy throat, and fever) found that those who drank several cups of echinacea tea every day for 5 days felt better sooner than those who drank tea without ec. Echinacea should never be taken for more than 12 days. It can reverse the effects of boosting the immune system.

    Astagalus: because it contains antioxidants, which protect cells against damage. Astragalus is used to protect and support the immune system, preventing colds and upper respiratory infections, lowering blood pressure, treating diabetes, and protecting the liver. Astragalus also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
