Cognitive Function & Neurovascular Resilience Herbal Tea

Cognitive Function & Neurovascular Resilience Herbal Tea

Rating is 5.0 out of five stars based on 1 review

Cognitive Function & Neurovascular Resilience Herbal Tea is a Functional Master Herbal Formulation created to support mental clarity, focus, memory, cerebral circulation, nervous-system function, and cognitive resilience without relying on caffeine or aggressive stimulation.

Cognitive performance depends on far more than mental stimulation alone. The brain requires consistent circulation and oxygen delivery, healthy vascular function, balanced neurotransmitter activity, appropriate nervous-system regulation, antioxidant protection, and the ability to remain responsive during periods of physical or mental stress.

This formulation was built around that broader neurological and neurovascular landscape. Ginkgo, gotu kola, rosemary, peppermint, tulsi, and lemon balm provide overlapping but distinct support for cognitive function, cerebral circulation, nervous-system signaling, stress adaptation, antioxidant defenses, and the maintenance of healthy brain and vascular tissues.

Rather than attempting to create artificial stimulation, the formulation supports clearer cognitive function through circulation, neurological resilience, and regulated alertness. This makes it particularly appropriate during periods of mental fatigue, demanding cognitive work, reduced concentration, or when stress and nervous-system load begin to interfere with clarity and focus.

Whole-System Cognitive Support

Memory, concentration, mental endurance, and processing are influenced by the condition of the nervous and vascular systems surrounding the brain.

Neurovascular function affects the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to neurological tissues. Stress physiology can alter attention, recall, and mental stamina. Oxidative stress and inflammatory signaling can influence both vascular and neurological function.

For this reason, this formulation supports the nervous, cognitive, circulatory, and neurovascular systems together, rather than treating focus or memory as isolated concerns.

Foundation Before Function

For most people, Functional support is best used alongside a species-appropriate whole-food human diet and the appropriate Adaptive and/or Nourishing foundation.

A Functional formulation may also be used first when a more immediate or pronounced need requires focused support. Wholehearted Harmony Master Herbal Formulations are not designed to be indiscriminately stacked. Combining several formulations without considering overlapping botanicals, physiological actions, and individual needs can create unnecessary complexity.

If you are considering using this formulation with another Wholehearted Harmony blend or herbal tea, please review Using Multiple Animal Blends & Herbal Teas in the Educational Library before combining them.

PeppermintFunctional Properties: Rich in menthol, menthone, rosmarinic acid and flavonoids that contribute antioxidant, circulatory, digestive, and nervous-system activity. Peppermint supports alertness, sensory awareness, mental clarity, and comfortable digestion without functioning as a conventional stimulant. Whole-Systems: Extends across neurological, digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and antioxidant physiology. Its aromatic compounds support cognitive engagement while its digestive and smooth-muscle actions help maintain broader physiological comfort and regulation. Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamin A and folate; calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and manganese.

TulsiFunctional Properties: An adaptogenic botanical containing eugenol, rosmarinic acid, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid and flavonoids. Tulsi supports stress-response regulation, cognitive resilience, balanced nervous-system signaling, antioxidant defenses, and healthy inflammatory and metabolic function. Whole-Systems: Connects cognition with nervous-system and stress-response physiology, helping support mental performance when sustained physiological or emotional stress contributes to fatigue, reduced concentration, or diminished resilience. Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamins A and C; calcium, iron and zinc.

Gotu KolaFunctional Properties: Contains triterpenoids including asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid. Traditionally used for cognition, memory, circulation, connective-tissue integrity, and nervous-system function, gotu kola also supports antioxidant defenses and healthy neurological adaptation. Whole-Systems: Bridges neurological and vascular physiology with connective-tissue and microcirculatory support. Its triterpenoid chemistry makes it particularly relevant to cognitive resilience, cerebral circulation, tissue integrity, and the maintenance of healthy neuronal environments. Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamins A and C; calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron.

RosemaryFunctional Properties: Rich in rosmarinic acid, carnosic acid, carnosol, 1,8-cineole and other aromatic and phenolic compounds. Rosemary supports cognition, alertness, circulation, antioxidant defenses, healthy inflammatory signaling, and normal cholinergic nervous-system activity. Whole-Systems: Supports the relationship between neurological function, cerebral circulation, oxidative balance, digestion, and vascular health. Its antioxidant compounds are especially relevant to protecting lipid-rich neurological tissues from oxidative stress. Vitamins & Minerals: Vitamins A and C; calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and manganese.

Ginkgo BilobaFunctional Properties: Contains flavonol glycosides and terpene lactones, including ginkgolides and bilobalide, associated with antioxidant activity, vascular function, microcirculation, and neurological support. Ginkgo is used to support memory, cognition, cerebral blood flow, and healthy nervous-system function. Whole-Systems: Connects cognitive performance with vascular and neurovascular integrity. Its activity extends across cerebral circulation, endothelial function, antioxidant protection, neuronal resilience, and the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to neurological tissues. Vitamins & Minerals: Ginkgo is used primarily for its concentrated flavonoid and terpene phytochemistry rather than as a significant nutritional source of vitamins or minerals.

Lemon BalmFunctional Properties: Rich in rosmarinic acid, caffeic acid derivatives, flavonoids and aromatic compounds including citronellal and citral. Lemon balm supports calm cognitive function, nervous-system regulation, mood balance, mental clarity, antioxidant defenses, and healthy GABA-related signaling. Whole-Systems: Helps connect cognitive function with nervous-system state, particularly when mental performance is affected by stress, tension, or excessive neurological activation. Its digestive and calming properties also support the gut–nervous-system relationship and broader physiological regulation. Vitamins & Minerals: Calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron and manganese; smaller amounts of vitamin C.

    Brain Boost Herbal Tea

I have never cared for flavored teas, but I have been giving these a try for the health benefits.

I absolutely love this blend, with some honey added, and it is wonderful!

I have started noticing improvement in my focus and a less overall inflammatory pain too.

I will be gifted this to my loved ones so they can benefit and enjoy too! Thanks, Debbi!
