Circulatory & Digestive Nourishment Herbal Tea

Circulatory & Digestive Nourishment Herbal Tea

Circulatory & Digestive Nourishment Herbal Tea is a Nourishing Master Herbal Formulation designed to provide ongoing botanical nourishment across circulatory, vascular, digestive, gastrointestinal, and antioxidant physiology.

Digestion and circulation are closely connected parts of whole-body nourishment. The digestive system is responsible for breaking down and absorbing nutrients, while circulation distributes those nutrients, oxygen, hormones, and other essential compounds throughout the body. Healthy vascular tone and blood flow also support the tissues and organs responsible for digestion, metabolism, elimination, and cellular repair.

This formulation brings together hibiscus, ginger root, lemongrass, and orange peel. Hibiscus provides the vascular and antioxidant center of the blend through its naturally occurring anthocyanins, polyphenols, organic acids, and mineral constituents. Ginger contributes warming digestive and circulatory activity through gingerols, shogaols, terpenes, and other pungent plant compounds. Lemongrass extends the formulation into aromatic digestive and smooth-muscle physiology, while orange peel contributes citrus flavonoids, carotenoids, aromatic compounds, and additional digestive and vascular nourishment.

Rather than functioning as a targeted blood-pressure or digestive protocol, Circulatory & Digestive Nourishment Herbal Tea provides regular whole-plant nourishment to physiological systems that continually work together. Its combination of polyphenols, anthocyanins, flavonoids, aromatic terpenes, minerals, organic acids, carotenoids, and other naturally occurring plant compounds provides broad botanical and phytonutrient diversity as part of the Wholehearted Harmony foundational approach.

Adaptive and Nourishing formulations work together as the ongoing foundation of the Human Herbal Tea line. Circulatory & Digestive Nourishment Herbal Tea may be alternated with the Adaptive Foundational Teas to provide broader botanical, nutritional, and phytonutrient diversity while supporting different aspects of everyday physiology over time.

Functional Master Herbal Formulations may then be incorporated when a more focused physiological need requires additional support.

This foundation-first approach allows herbs to be used with purpose rather than indiscriminately stacking multiple formulations or treating every everyday need as something requiring targeted intervention.

Naturally caffeine-free, Circulatory & Digestive Nourishment Herbal Tea has a tart, citrus-forward character balanced by the gentle warmth of ginger and may be incorporated into a consistent herbal wellness practice.

Combining Multiple Blends & Teas

Wholehearted Harmony Master Herbal Formulations are not designed to be indiscriminately stacked. If you are considering using multiple blends or herbal teas, please reach out before ordering.

Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa) — Functional Properties: A deeply pigmented, antioxidant-rich botanical traditionally valued for cardiovascular, vascular, and digestive nourishment. Hibiscus is particularly rich in anthocyanins, flavonoids, other polyphenols, polysaccharides, and organic acids including hibiscus, citric, and malic acids. These compounds account for much of its characteristic color and tart flavor while contributing significant antioxidant phytochemistry. Whole-Systems: Provides broad support to vascular and circulatory physiology while also contributing to digestive, hepatic, metabolic, and cellular antioxidant systems. Its combination of polyphenols, pigments, organic acids, and naturally occurring nutrients gives hibiscus a substantial role beyond simply providing color or flavor. Vitamins & Minerals: Naturally contains vitamin C and mineral constituents including calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and other trace minerals. Hibiscus also provides anthocyanin pigments and other phytonutrients that contribute importantly to its nutritional profile.

Ginger Root (Zingiber officinale) — Functional Properties: A warming aromatic and pungent digestive botanical traditionally valued for supporting digestion, gastrointestinal motility, circulation, and normal inflammatory regulation. Ginger contains gingerols, shogaols, paradols, zingerone, and numerous terpenes including zingiberene and related volatile constituents. Whole-Systems: Supports digestive and gastrointestinal physiology while also influencing circulation, vascular function, metabolic activity, muscular comfort, and antioxidant defenses. Its warming character helps bridge digestive activity with peripheral circulation and broader metabolic physiology. Vitamins & Minerals: Naturally provides potassium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, and smaller amounts of iron and other mineral constituents. Ginger is used primarily for its gingerols, shogaols, terpenes, and other pungent phytochemistry rather than as a concentrated source of vitamins.

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) — Functional Properties: An aromatic digestive botanical traditionally used to support healthy gastrointestinal tone and digestive comfort. Lemongrass contains terpenoids—particularly citral components including geranial and neral—along with flavonoids, phenolic acids, and other antioxidant plant compounds. Whole-Systems: Provides overlapping support to digestive, gastrointestinal, nervous-system, vascular, and smooth-muscle physiology while contributing to whole-body antioxidant defenses. Its aromatic constituents complement the warming activity of ginger while broadening the formulation's digestive and circulatory character. Vitamins & Minerals: Naturally contains mineral constituents including potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron, and zinc, along with additional trace elements. Lemongrass is valued especially for its aromatic terpenes and polyphenolic compounds.

Orange Peel Granules (Citrus sinensis) — Functional Properties: An aromatic citrus botanical traditionally valued for supporting digestion and healthy gastrointestinal movement. Orange peel is rich in citrus flavanones, particularly hesperidin and related compounds, together with phenolic acids, carotenoids, polymethoxylated flavones including nobiletin and tangeretin, and aromatic terpenes such as limonene. Whole-Systems: Supports digestive and gastrointestinal physiology while contributing flavonoid-rich nourishment to vascular, circulatory, connective-tissue, and antioxidant systems. Its role in this formulation extends well beyond flavor, providing substantial citrus phytochemistry that complements both the digestive and circulatory herbs. Vitamins & Minerals: Naturally contains vitamin C, carotenoids with provitamin A activity, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and smaller amounts of other mineral constituents.
