Cardiovascular & Nervous System Nourishment Herbal Tea

Cardiovascular & Nervous System Nourishment Herbal Tea

Cardiovascular & Nervous System Nourishment Herbal Tea is a Nourishing Master Herbal Formulation designed to provide gentle, ongoing botanical nourishment across the cardiovascular, circulatory, nervous, connective-tissue, and antioxidant systems.

Cardiovascular and nervous-system physiology are closely interconnected. Autonomic nervous-system activity influences heart rate, vascular tone, circulation, and the body's response to physical and emotional stress, while healthy circulation continually supplies oxygen and nutrients to the brain, nerves, tissues, and organs. Nourishing these systems together supports a broader physiological foundation than treating cardiovascular and nervous-system health as separate concerns.

This formulation brings together rose petals and buds, lavender, whole hawthorn berries, and linden flowers. Hawthorn provides the cardiovascular center of the blend with naturally occurring procyanidins, flavonoids, phenolic acids, and other antioxidant plant compounds traditionally valued for the heart and vascular system. Linden and lavender contribute gentle nervine and aromatic support while also influencing vascular and smooth-muscle physiology. Rose broadens the formulation with polyphenols, flavonoids, aromatic compounds, vitamin C, minerals, and additional antioxidant nourishment.

Rather than functioning as a targeted cardiovascular or nervous-system protocol, this tea is intended to nourish the physiological territory shared by these systems through regular use. Its combination of cardiovascular botanicals, gentle nervines, antioxidants, polyphenols, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals, and aromatic plant compounds provides broad botanical and nutritional diversity as part of the Wholehearted Harmony foundational approach.

Adaptive and Nourishing formulations work together as the ongoing foundation of the Human Herbal Tea line. Cardiovascular & Nervous System Nourishment Herbal Tea may be alternated with the Adaptive Foundational Teas to provide broader botanical, nutritional, and phytonutrient diversity while supporting different aspects of everyday physiology over time.

Functional Master Herbal Formulations may then be incorporated when a more focused physiological need requires additional support.

This foundation-first approach allows herbs to be used with purpose rather than indiscriminately stacking multiple formulations or treating every everyday need as something requiring targeted intervention.

Naturally caffeine-free, Cardiovascular & Nervous System Nourishment Herbal Tea has a soft floral character with the deeper fruit notes of hawthorn and may be incorporated into a consistent herbal wellness practice.

Combining Multiple Blends & Teas

Wholehearted Harmony Master Herbal Formulations are not designed to be indiscriminately stacked. If you are considering using multiple blends or herbal teas, please reach out before ordering.

Rose Petals & Buds (Rosa spp.) — Functional Properties: A gently aromatic, astringent, antioxidant-rich botanical traditionally valued for emotional and nervous-system balance, digestive tone, tissue health, and circulatory nourishment. Rose petals contain polyphenols, flavonoids, anthocyanins and other pigments, tannins, phenolic acids, and aromatic compounds including geraniol, citronellol, nerol, and related volatile constituents. Whole-Systems: Provides overlapping nourishment to the nervous, cardiovascular, digestive, mucosal, and connective-tissue systems while contributing antioxidant protection and gentle tissue-toning activity. Its combination of aromatic and polyphenolic constituents makes rose considerably more physiologically diverse than its traditional association with fragrance alone suggests. Vitamins & Minerals: Naturally provides vitamin C along with mineral constituents including potassium, phosphorus, calcium, iron, and trace minerals. Rose petals also contribute carotenoid and other antioxidant plant pigments.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) — Functional Properties: A classic aromatic nervine traditionally used to encourage relaxation while supporting normal nervous-system and digestive tone. Lavender contains volatile constituents including linalool and linalyl acetate together with phenolic acids, flavonoids, tannins, and rosmarinic acid. These compounds contribute its characteristic aromatic, antioxidant, and gentle smooth-muscle activity. Whole-Systems: Influences nervous-system regulation, digestive physiology, muscular tension, vascular tone, and antioxidant defenses. Its aromatic nervous-system activity helps connect the cardiovascular and neurologic territories addressed by the formulation. Vitamins & Minerals: Lavender is used primarily for its volatile oils, phenolic compounds, and flavonoids rather than as a concentrated nutritional herb. The plant also contains naturally occurring mineral constituents including calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, and trace minerals.

Hawthorn Berries, Whole (Crataegus spp.) — Functional Properties: A classic cardiovascular botanical traditionally used as a nourishing tonic for the heart and vascular system. Hawthorn berries contain oligomeric procyanidins, epicatechin, flavonoids, anthocyanins, chlorogenic and other phenolic acids, triterpenes, pectin, and additional antioxidant constituents. These compounds are associated with hawthorn's long-standing role in supporting healthy circulation, vascular integrity, and cardiovascular function. Whole-Systems: Provides broad nourishment to the heart, blood vessels, circulation, connective tissues, and cellular antioxidant systems. Healthy vascular function also supports delivery of oxygen and nutrients throughout the nervous system and other metabolically active tissues. Vitamins & Minerals: Naturally provides vitamin C and a range of mineral constituents, along with fruit-based organic acids and pectin. Its nutritional contribution complements its much richer profile of procyanidins, flavonoids, and other cardiovascular phytochemistry.

Linden Flowers (Tilia spp.) — Functional Properties: A gentle aromatic nervine, demulcent, and traditional circulatory botanical. Linden flowers contain flavonoids including quercetin- and kaempferol-related compounds, mucilage polysaccharides, tannins, phenolic acids, and small amounts of volatile aromatic constituents. Its combination of soothing mucilage, flavonoids, and aromatic compounds gives linden both nervous-system and vascular relevance. Whole-Systems: Supports nervous-system relaxation, vascular and circulatory physiology, smooth-muscle tone, respiratory and mucosal tissues, and antioxidant defenses. Its traditional use beautifully bridges the cardiovascular and nervous-system territories at the center of this Nourishing formulation. Vitamins & Minerals: Linden is valued primarily for its flavonoids, mucilage, phenolic compounds, and other phytochemistry rather than as a concentrated vitamin or mineral source. It also contributes naturally occurring trace mineral constituents.
