COPD is a blanket term often given to horses who present respiratory issues even when it's not something chronic. Symptoms are the result of something deeper and an immune response (like allergies). These blends are best use with a forage base pellet or a soy free, non-gmo grain. This blends can be combines with other blends, but sometimes a custom blend is more ideal as to not have redundancy. Contact us or book a consultation for more details.

Standard pricing includes packaging your order in the original supply size purchased (30-day, 60-day, or 90-day supply packaged in a single bag, or standard short-duration supplies such as 4-dstom8-day or 12-day antiparasitic blends).
If you purchase a 60-day or 90-day supply, or a short-duration antiparasitic supply, and request that it be broken down into smaller individual bags (for example, requesting multiple 30-day bags or shorter-duration bags), this is considered custom packaging and requires additional time, materials, labeling, and handling.

Examples:

Licorice Root: over 300 chemical compounds and flavonoids that have been proven to fight respiratory infections along with many other infections. Potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects. vitamins A, C & E.
Eucalyptus: Antibacterial And Antifungal, decreases and clears mucus and fights the common cold. Supports respiratory health by working as a decongestant for your nose, it can also help to loosen mucus when you’re dealing with a cough. Helps with stress and anxiety. Antioxidants, particularly flavonoids, which protect your body from oxidative stress and free radical damage. The main flavonoids in eucalyptus include catechins, isorhamnetin, luteolin, kaempferol, phloretin, and quercetin.
Lungwort: known for its antibiotic properties, it offers many benefits for breathing conditions, Lungwort is also used in cough medicines, to relieve fluid retention, and to treat lung diseases such as tuberculosis.
Thyme: known for its known to control or neutralize certain bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections. Reduces inflammation. Clinical studies show its use in soothing coughs and relieving chest congestion. full of vitamin C for immune support, potassium and manganese
Coltsfoot: treats chronic respiratory conditions, reduces inflammation and coughing. Helps lung problems such as bronchitis, asthma, and whooping cough (pertussis). Mullein leaves contain mucilage, which has a soothing effect on irritated and inflamed tissues, including the respiratory and digestive tracts. Mullein can help fight off various pathogens due to its antimicrobial properties and help support the horse's immune system. This herb pairs very well with the above herbs but especially lobelia.
