What is tying - up? When abnormal alterations occur in the physiology of muscles, a horse may experience painful, uncontrollable, and continuous muscle contractions. This condition is called tying-up, or rhabdomyolysis, and is comparable to severe cramps that a human might experience.

This blend was formulated for our older horse who had some issues tying up when it got really cold. Even though she had plenty of hay, blanketing and warmth, she needed something extra. Though we give her homeopathy (cuprum) and it works wonders, the herbs seem to get her through the night better.

This blend is still fairly new and our Roxie hasn't been on it long but I am seeing very positive effects.
