This blend was formulated with the nervous pup in mind. 

 

Some dogs just don't get used to noise and get over stimulated (fireworks, etc.). Some dogs have been rescued from a sitation that may have left them distrusting and nervous. Some dogs really get anxiety going to the vet. If you have a dog like that, this blend would be very beneficial.

 

These blends are best fed with a raw/no soy diet. If using kibble, it is recommneded to be of high qualtiy with minimual processing. 

 

Blends are created for large dogs (50+ lbs.), bags will last longer for smaller dogs.

    Chamomile: Best known for its calming properties, chamomile is safe for dogs and full of healthy benefits. In fact, it is actually one of the safest herbs you can offer your pet! Chamomile has anti-inflammatory, sedative, and antispasmodic properties. Nutritional: vitamin C, calcium, copper, zinc, and iron that are essential for the body. This flower also possesses certain active chemical compounds like chamazulene, apigenin, luteolin, beta-carotene and bisabolol. 

    Skullcap: Skullcap will calm your dog's worries in the face of stressful events like vet visits and thunderstorms, and help him get to sleep. A snoozing pup getting examined by his doc is probably every pet lover's dream. Nutritional: rich in nutrients, including antioxidants 

    Passion Flowers: best known for its natural calming properties. This purple flower has been used for medicinal purposes for many years and is completely safe for dogs. Nutritional: alkaloids, flavonoids, coumarins and glycosides. Some of these compounds, such as glycosides, are known for their sedative properties. Passionflower also contains a variety of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, iron, and potassium.

    Valerian Root: it increases the amount of a chemical called gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA helps regulate nerve cells and has a calming effect on anxiety. Nutritional: contains essential vitamins and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, EFA's, beta-carotene and B vitamins.

    Catnip: While catnip typically acts as a stimulant in cats, it has the opposite effect in dogs, by acting as a mild sedative. Keep in mind that as with cats, not all dogs react to catnip in the same way. In fact, some have no response at all. Additionally, catnip should not be used as a daily supplement for dogs.
