Applied Zoopharmacognosy: enables self-medicative behaviour in domesticated and captive animals by offering plant extracts, powder or chopped herbs that would contain the same, or similar constituents to those found in an animal's evolutionary history.

This is best and honestly coolest way to listen to your horse.

It is a good idea to replace your herbs at least once a year. You can purchase the herb fill in the options.

  • In this kit you will find simple to read instructions, a booklet of the herb actions and energetics, a check list, 70ish single herbs and a 3-pocket apron to make this process a little easier.

Most herbs are either cut and sifted, whole flowers, chopped root or bark. Some are powdered. These herbs are to be used for smelling as there is not enough to feed a horse and see any change.

These herbs are for testing only.  Once your testing is done and evaluated by me, Wholehearted Harmony, I will create a custom blend using the most beneficial herbs your horse has chosen.

We want to feed the custom blend for a minimum 2 months and then allow the horse's body to rest and the herbs to work for 2 - 3 weeks before retesting.

These herbs will last up to a year easily, if stored properly.

Please be sure to visit the testing page for more information. For extra checklist copies, you will find that at the bottom of the testing page

** PLEASE NOTE: Herbs may be missing due to vendor availabilty. It's usually no more than 2-4 herbs and will not affect the outcome of your testing. If any bags are missing when your order is fullfilled, I will mail you those herbs as soon as they arrive in stock. We do our best to always have our herbs available but vendor and shipping delays happen. Thank you in advance.

  • All herbs are human grade. And the blends created are safe and effective. However, contact us or your vet with any concerns. As with any horse, monitor with feedings. Every horse reacts differently. Though rare, allergic responses can happen.

Rule of thumb; if something doesn't seem right, stop.

    Love this kit

I've tested my horses multiple times as well as friends horses. My geldings tests have progressively gotten smaller and smaller as to the herbs he chose as his body heals. Without this kit I wouldn't have known where to start or what to start with. Peeling the onion layers one test at a time ❤️
